Absolutely my fave Cole Porter ditty. So fun with Gaga & Bennett. The Dollar Tree here in WSMV is pure entertainment. I bought a cleaning paste just because it looked good. Never used it. Fun to look at! Try Dermasil toner with rose water. Nice! works! I look 10 years thinner! As for Porter, no doubt he had you in mind. Your the top! You're cellophane! ( you can grab some at Dollar Tree )

Janice, I love the Williamsville Dollar Tree stores. I went to the one on Niagara Falls Boulevard not long ago and I almost wept, it was so different from mine. Our city Dollar Trees can get pretty rugged. I will follow your recommendations -- thank you!! p.s. That cellophane line -- I love it too! Didn't you love the pictures in the video?

Ooh I HATE pepsodent— spoiled by Pepto bismol. Your post made me nostalgic for those huge wash detergent jugs. I’ve been using the sheets for a while now and miss out on the weight training ( wait training? ;) ) of dollar store detergent buying.

Pepto-Bismol really is the enemy, isn't it? I've taken it only maybe twice in my life however it has ruined for me that particular shade of pink. About the detergent jugs, keep in mind they are only about half the size they used to be. All the same, I should try the sheets. Leith, in the comment below, talks about those sheets. I haven't tried them. I haven't even seen them! Are they at Dollar Tree?

I thought they were a product one had to find at an upscale enviro-shop but au contraire-- I see that Tops and Wegmans have them-- Dollar Store, hmm- doubtful

The Dollar Generals rule out here in the 'burbs! They just put a new one in at Broadway and Bowen and there is a colonial-looking one on Main St. out in Clarence. You can buy ANYTHING in these stores! I'm also an Ultrabrite girl. :) And thank you for the commercial clip. I miss those corny commercials. I also have news on the heavy cleanser bottles and lugging them home. DON'T! This past year I made the big jump to Laundry Detergent Sheets! Yes, Sheets. No more plastic jugs or pods of gooey stuff. Also, dryer sheets, both by Clean People. I didn't stop there. I now use Blueland dishwasher tablets that come in a brown paper bag. All are Eco-friendly, no harsh chemicals or dyes. Love them all. I doubt they stand up to the bargains that can be found at Dollar Tree, or General, but I don't have to lug those huge plastic bottles from the store to my car to my house and then out to the recycle bin.

I would have guessed you were an Ultra-Brite girl, Leith! And that you miss the corny commercials, which, I do too. One of these days I am going to go shop at one of your fine suburban Dollar Generals. After the DG's around here it will be like going to the Galleries Lafayette!

Yes, yes, and yes!! I love the Thanksgiving things too! There is nothing like walking into Dollar Tree to make you realize you want, you crave, you need those wine glasses and potholders reading "Give Thanks" and "Gather"!
