A day late. Setting up for a massive rummage sale. I'm really surprised that baby bun bun is still alive. They usually die from shock. Good for Charlie!
It went well. Still had a bunch of stuff we donated to Goodwill. We will never do it again, though. We're exhausted BUT we got a lot of compliments on a well organized sale!
Great to know about the butterflies in Buffalo. I wonder if they allow a high end camera to photograph inside. There is a butterfly display in Canada but I don't want my car torched!
I guess the cat needs to attend sensativity training...
Oldies should be oldies. Woody Herman, all the Big Bands, Artie Shaw (I was a licorice stick player in my youth), Sidney Bechet, Erroll Garner. Etc.
Steve, the Botanical Gardens is encouraging photographs at the Butterfly Experience so my guess is they would be fine with your camera. And I agree on the "oldies" -- the meaning should not be evolving from year to year! I love all the artists you mention. I miss them! Thank you for checking in. Let me know if you go photograph the butterflies!
Steve, My wife and I spent last weekend in Canada, nobody is going to torch your car. All the Canadians we talked to were happy to see us and could separate US citizens from the US government. Don't let a stupid political fight stop you from going. The Canadians need our support now more than ever. (Plus you get a great exchange rate.)
I was puzzled by Steve's mention of the car torching in Canada. Now I see it must have to do with the business about Canada becoming "our cherished 51st state"? Anyway thank you for stepping in and explaining it!
Haha yes! It also suggested that I spread the word that the St. Michael prayer is powerful and should be said every day. I guess it does know me, but still, things like that do remind me that God is in charge!
There used to be a WBUZ in Fredonia. The FCC revoked its license in the 1980s for violations of the Fairness Doctrine and for racial discrimination in hiring. The call letters now belong to a rock station in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
I suggested to Howard that he put you on the case to find an ancient Catholic prayer (there has to be one) to exorcise the negative mojo from the OuiJa board!
We have to research ancient Latin prayers so we are ready when life throws things at us like half a glass Ouija board! Also so we're prepared for anything we might run into at estate sales.

Amy, thank you for taking time to check in amidst your rummage sale prep! Let me know how the sale goes! I cannot imagine such an undertaking!
One day down. Two more to go.
How did the rummage sale go?

It was somewhat tongue in cheek. I go to the Canadian Legion post in FT. Erie and they’re great. (Just don’t refer to it as a American Legion) 😉😃
👍

AI must know you very well to come up with those suggestions! A little creepy, but good advice.

Tom, thank you for reading the Buzz! I am honored! And I appreciate the information. I guess I will have to stick with Howard's WBIG call letters!
